Jagdeep Singh Deo is a distinguished Malaysian politician and lawyer, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Penang II since August 2023. He has been a key member of the Penang State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) state administrations under Chief Ministers Lim Guan Eng and Chow Kon Yeow since May 2013. Representing Datok Keramat as a Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) since March 2008, Jagdeep is a dedicated member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), contributing to both the PH and formerly PR coalitions. As the eldest son of the revered ‘Tiger of Jelutong,’ Karpal Singh, and the older brother of Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital and MP for Damansara, and Ramkarpal Singh, MP for Bukit Gelugor, Jagdeep continues his family’s legacy in Malaysian politics.

Renee Tan is the Founder and Managing Director of Hashtaqs®, which helps businesses to scale up and internationalise through brand transformation, omni-channel marketing and ecosystem development. She has more than 13 years of corporate experience in sales, marketing and ecosystem development for the MICE sector in various industries such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, Supply Chain & Logistics, Mining, Power Electricity, Private Banking, Hedge Funds, and recently been actively building the community in the technology, innovation, and sustainability arena.
She’s also the Founder of HER® Entrepreneur, an inclusive and diverse regional community and omni-channel media platform which inspires, educates, empowers and also connects the ecosystem of entrepreneurs, leaders, government and investors across Asia through online content, monthly LearnXNetwork sessions and the yearly summit that was held in Singapore and Malaysia. Her yearly conference gathers C-suites and Founders to discuss, connect and forge potential partnerships.
She’s the Chief Producer for the HASH Asia Summit which was recently held that gathers business owners, industry leaders, government and investors across Asia to discuss about innovation, technology and sustainability.
She’s also the Partner for Artificial Intelligence International Institute (AIII), a think thank that advocates Sustainable AI for Humanity, which is a strategic international partner to the World AI Conference (WAIC), that hosts the largest AI conference globally. AIII’s role is to build the ecosystem of the AI industry globally and venture build AI startups.
She was a recipient of the Brands For Good Award in 2019 and was featured in The Business Times. She’s also the recipient of the SME Excellence Business Award 2022/2023 and the Aspiring Woman Entrepreneurs 2022/2023.
She had been invited to speak in several SME events and events for the MICE industry across the region. Her business and herself was featured in several media platforms such as 938FM, Astro Radio, e27, The Economist, CNA, News5, Marketing in Asia, The Business Times, etc.
She is a Singapore certified management consultant by the certifying body, TUV SUD, an ACTA certified trainer, and a degree graduate who holds a Double Major in Psychology and Marketing from the Singapore Management University. She recently holds an advanced certificate in Venture Capital.

Tobias Leong is the co-founder and CTO of Axium Industries, a Singapore-based AI company
building agentic systems for supply-chain reliant businesses across the region. Axium currently
serves listed companies spanning manufacturing, maritime, oil and gas, and other industrial
verticals, helping them drive operational efficiency at scale.
With over a decade of engineering and data leadership experience in top tech companies, Tobias
has built and scaled data platforms across some of the most demanding environments in the
industry. Most recently at Databricks (one of the most prominent data companies for AI), he
deployed complex data platforms for the largest enterprise customers in APAC.
Tobias has also led global full-stack engineering teams at Zendesk, building products used by
millions across the world. He had also spent four years at GovTech Singapore leading the Data
Engineering division, where his team designed and delivered the national contact tracing
platform during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Matin Ng Chin Liang is a corporate person who plans corporate strategy, unleashes business
potential and elevates businesses. He graduated from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom with a
Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Accounting and Finance in 2014. In 2015, he obtained a Master of
Science (Distinction) in Accounting and Finance under full scholarship from the same university. In
2022, he graduated from Wawasan Open University with a Doctor of Business Administration. He has
been a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of
Accountants since 2017. He began his career with Deloitte PLT as an Audit Associate in 2015. He left
the accounting firm in 2016 and joined UWC Holdings.
He was the person behind the successful listing of UWC Berhad in the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia
in the year 2019. His expertise includes corporate finance, restructuring of companies, and financial
engineering. UWC Berhad was listed on 10th July 2019 with an initial market capitalization of RM 300
million and today, UWC is being valued at RM 3.6 billion. Subsequent to the listing of UWC, UWC is
named the best IPO in 2019 by The Edge Malaysia and was recognized as one of the companies in
the Forbes Asian 200 Best Under a Billion. In 2022, he lists another company under his family
portfolio which involved in the marketing of various branded medical devices and the developing, and
manufacturing of medical consumables such as the prefilled oxygen humidifier, disposable nebulizer,
UMedic Group Berhad in the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia with an initial market capitalization of RM
100 million and today it is valued at close to RM 300 million.
As a strong believer in talent and education, as part of the promotion of the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goal, Goal 4 Quality Education, Dr. Matin actively participates in various
advisory boards of tertiary education institutes. He is currently serving as Vice-Chairman of Penang
Skill and Development Centre (PSDC), a member of the Industry Advisory Committee, Politeknik
Seberang Perai, Ministry of Education, and a member of Institute-Industry Management Board, Institut
Latihan Perindustrian Arumgam Pillai Nibong Tebal, Jabatan Tenaga Malaysia, member of Technical
Advisory Committee, JMTI, Jabatan Tenaga Malaysia. Recently, he was appointed as a member of
Council of Experts the Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body (GITC). In closing the gap
between tertiary education institutes, he established an industry centre called UWC Education Centre
in Politeknik Seberang Perai where industry experts conduct classes twice a month.

Noorazidi (Azidi) Che Azib, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Nevada,
USA, is Vice President of Operational Technology, Strategic Programs, and EHS at Inari
Technology (A wholly owned subsidiary of Inari Amertron Berhad).
With over 30 years in semiconductor manufacturing and leadership roles at AMD, Hewlett
Packard, Agilent, and Avago, he has been pivotal in Inari’s transformation since 2012. Azidi
spearheads digital innovation, industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing control technologies.
Deeply committed to talent and ecosystem development, he has nurtured thousands of
industry-ready graduates through academia collaboration and driven SME growth through the
Inari Waterfall Effect Model, reinforcing Malaysia’s position in the global semiconductor
industry.

Hoong Fei is a Director of Software Development at AMD, with over 25 years of experience in enterprise IT. Based in Penang, Malaysia, he holds an MBA from the University of South Australia and leads major transformation programs focused on Finance systems and process modernization. His work integrates enterprise SAP with cloud platforms and internal AI tools to deliver seamless user experiences.
Hoong Fei also heads the site IT organization, driving sustainable infrastructure and software development. He is a passionate advocate for AI adoption, spearheading the “AI First” movement at AMD Malaysia to align with the company’s leadership in the AI era. Prior to AMD, Hoong Fei spent over a decade at Intel, where he led IT initiatives across Supply Chain, Finance, and Advanced Analytics.
