Ir. Ts. Za’im Azyze is the Senior General Manager and the Head of the System & Technology Applications (STA) division at the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii). He is a certified assessor for the Industry4WRD Readiness Assessment program under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and a panel evaluator for the Engineering Accredited Council (EAC) program of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Ir. Ts. Za’im Azyze is a registered professional mechanical engineer, ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) by BEM, Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng),
International Engineer, IntPE(Aus), APEC Engineer by Engineers Australia, and Professional Technologist by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA and a Master’s in Forensic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Skudai Johor.

With over 25 years of experience, Ir. Ts. Za’im Azyze is the subject matter expert in automotive components manufacturing and industrial engineering, specialising in manufacturing process planning, process design, and production engineering. He has led numerous manufacturing process automation projects, developing manufacturing process design and process improvement programs, working with companies and agencies in the automotive, aerospace and electronics sectors. His contributions in these areas have been instrumental in enhancing organisational productivity and operational excellence.
