Dato’ Seri Dr. Abdul Halim Hussain is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Foundpac Bhd and a Board Member of JKP Sdn Bhd, a Ministry of Finance subsidiary. He previously served as the Penang State EXCO for Trade, Industry and Entrepreneur Development (2018–2023), where he led record-breaking investment growth, drove digital transformation through the establishment of Digital Penang, and championed SME and entrepreneurship initiatives. With more than three decades of experience spanning government, corporate banking, and leadership in industry bodies, he continues to contribute as National Honorary Advisor to SAMENTA and Advisor to CREST’s SME Committee, shaping Malaysia’s industrial and entrepreneurial landscape.
