Hew Peng Koon (PK Hew) has over 25 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, driving operations transformation through automation and advanced analytics. He has led major initiatives in engineering solutions, process streamlining, and performance improvements, and was instrumental in SanDisk Storage Malaysia and Shanghai earning recognition as the first WEF Advanced Industry 4.0 and Sustainability Lighthouses in Malaysia, Asia, and China.

He currently leads Global Flash Back End Automation & Analytics Development Engineering, shaping the next phase of automation and analytics strategy. PengKoon is also pioneering Malaysia’s first “university-within-a-factory” to advance industry-academia collaboration in future technologies. He holds a First-Class Honors Degree in Material Science and Engineering from the National University of Malaysia.
