Usha Jayahkudy is the Dean of the School of Computing at INTI International College Penang, providing academic leadership across Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence programmes. With professional experience spanning both industry and academia, she brings valuable industry insights into curriculum development, teaching, technology adoption, and student development. She actively promotes industry–academia collaboration through initiatives such as Huawei ICT Academy and IBM SkillsBuild, enabling students to gain industry-recognised certifications and practical technology skills. Under her leadership, INTI International College Penang has been recognised as an Outstanding Huawei ICT Academy in Malaysia at the 2024 and 2025 Huawei ICT Competition National Awards, reflecting the institution’s continued commitment to excellence in ICT education, innovation, and industry engagement. Her areas of interest include Computer Science education, Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, curriculum innovation, and industry–academia collaboration.

Kuna Raj ,a Presales Engineer at 10 Infinity Sdn. Bhd., specializing in IT infrastructure management, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and IT service management solutions. Based in the company’s Penang office, he works closely with customers across various industries, including manufacturing, semiconductor, and enterprise sectors, to design, demonstrate, and implement ManageEngine solutions.

He has experience in solution consulting, technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) deployments, and customer enablement. Throughout his career, I have been involved in projects covering Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), IT Service Management (ITSM), Active Directory management, privileged access management, and cybersecurity solutions.

He has conducted numerous product presentations, technical workshops, and live demonstrations, helping organizations improve operational efficiency, strengthen endpoint security, and accelerate their digital transformation initiatives. He is passionate about sharing practical knowledge and helping organizations adopt modern IT management best practices.

Dietmar Gierlich gained 5 years working experience at TUV Rheinland in the photovoltaic industry in Japan and China, including the setup of a photovoltaic module testing laboratory in his position as “Head of PV Laboratory Osaka”.

After the successful in-time and in-budget setup of the PV laboratory in Osaka for TÜV Rheinland with 5 team members, Mr. Gierlich continued working for TÜV Rheinland as Free Agent in the ASEAN region, which allowed him to study an Executive MBA at the triple accredited University of Hull on the Singapore campus, from where he graduated after 2 years with distinction.

Since 2015, Mr. Gierlich has offered engineering- and sales management services for the company BAUER and SUCO in Asia, while being enrolled in a doctoral program from UK and active as Rotarian in the Malaysian society. The doctoral study of Mr. Gierlich is concerned with the research question how manufacturing organisations can benefit from the blockchain technology.

From July 2019, Mr. Gierlich accepted a new responsibility as Managing Director for the company Meister Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., establishing a sales network within APAC and building a local team in Malaysia to sell flowmeters and fire extinguishers from Meister in Germany.

Weng serves as the Managing Director of Open DC Sdn Bhd and a Board Member of DE-CIX Malaysia, where he continues to drive innovation in data centre and interconnection ecosystems. His leadership has been pivotal in transforming Malaysia’s digital infrastructure, expanding its role as a strategic hub for regional connectivity and cloud enablement.
In 2017, Weng established Open DC Sdn Bhd to strengthen Malaysia’s digital backbone and support the growth of next-generation technologies. The following year, he founded the Johor Bahru Internet Exchange (JBIX), a landmark initiative that enhanced domestic and regional network interconnectivity. In 2020, this vision culminated in the integration of JBIX into DE-CIX Malaysia, a joint venture between Starwing Technologies Sdn Bhd and DE-CIX Asia. Today, DE-CIX Malaysia stands as a leading platform for global and local interconnection, offering advanced peering and cloud exchange services under Weng’s continued strategic guidance.
Beyond his corporate ventures, Weng is an active member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of Malaysia, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning, strategic leadership, and global collaboration. He completed the 46th Session of the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2015, further honing his executive management capabilities.
Weng’s contributions to the technology and connectivity sectors have been widely recognised. In 2020, he was named Best Thought Leader in Information Technology at the GBS Asia Awards, a testament to his role in driving innovation and digital transformation within Malaysia and beyond.
