Ts. Hj. Mohammad Hazani (Ts. Hazani) is currently the Group CEO of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (“MTDC”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah, the sovereign wealth fund of the Malaysian Government. Additionally, he also sits on the board of MTDC investment committee.

He has vast experiences in fund management, venture capital and technology transfer, having been involved in the industry for the last thirty years, both locally and internationally, including having worked for a US Venture Capital fund in the Silicon Valley.

He is also the former Chairman of the Malaysian Venture Capital Association (“MVCA”) and is a member of several Working Committees at the level of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).

Ts. Hazani holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University at Sacramento, USA.
