Cheah Kok Hoong is a visionary executive and ESG champion with over 30 years of leadership in digital transformation, venture capital, sustainability strategy, and cross-sector collaboration. A prominent figure in Malaysia’s ESG transformation, Cheah is the President of the ESG Association of Malaysia and Chairman of the ESG Board for the Malaysia Chapter. He is frequently sought after for national policy input and cross-border ESG initiatives. His leadership roles span public, private, and academic sectors, demonstrating a unique ability to integrate digital strategy with sustainable value creation.
Cheah is also a seasoned venture capitalist and advisor, having helped scale high-growth businesses and advised multinational companies on strategic investments. A passionate advocate of education-industry partnerships, he serves as an Adjunct Practice Professor at Sunway University and sits on multiple advisory boards shaping future-ready education.
