Bringing together industry leaders, pioneering innovators, policymakers, and strategic investors under the critical theme of Industry 5.0 is a remarkable achievement. The convention illuminated the transformative future of cornerstone sectors; semiconductor, electronics, MedTech, and Green tech—firmly positioning Penang and Malaysia at the centre of this global dialogue. What distinguished AIM Asia 2024 was the precision in every detail: a strategically curated agenda, seamless logistics, and an environment that fostered unparalleled networking. This meticulous planning enabled vital exchanges between technology and industry, policy and market, innovation and investment—delivering undeniable value to all participants. Renee, your stewardship was evident throughout. The ability to orchestrate such a complex ecosystem into a coherent, impactful, and smoothly run event is truly inspiring. Please also convey my deepest respect and congratulations to the Hashtaqs team, whose dedication and expertise powered this landmark convention. As Founder and Executive Director of Cloud3 Solutions, an IT strategy firm based in Singapore serving clients across Malaysia and Indonesia, I found the insights and connections gained at AIM Asia directly relevant and invaluable. It’s an event that brings together stakeholders from around the world for a common goal: to improve the overall ecosystem of innovation and manufacturing and to move towards Industry 5.0. I think that’s phenomenal work that AIM Asia is doing and I’m very happy to be here.

I’ve been involved in this event last year and this year. I love it because it really helps to make Penang the Silicon Valley of the East, and I feel that this is a meaningful thing to do. Also, commercially, it is very attractive.

The thing I like most about AIM Asia Week is that it is very to the point. Networking is encouraged here through activities like collecting stamps or speed networking sessions. Everything is very to the point, and we can meet different companies in the same space, get to know about their development, share, and meet peers. It’s very nice to know what’s happening in the space.

What I like a lot about AIM Asia is the fact that it brings a lot of people together from the industry, startups like me, and the local government as well. Bringing these groups together and having a conversation is very meaningful because at the end of the day, it’s about our talent pool in Malaysia and how we can serve Malaysia to build the nation together. Penang, as our manufacturing hub, is the right place to have this event. Very happy to be here.

It’s also a great opportunity for me to mingle, network, and interact with people who are industry experts and subject experts in Malaysia.

AIM Asia is a good platform for us, as a business, to venture into all other business ventures and find future synergies with other companies.

AIM Asia has done a very good job in terms of mobilizing the right organization that is related to the advanced manufacturing agenda. This conference has also identified good areas of engagement and knowledge-sharing, so it could benefit the manufacturing ecosystem in this country.

AIM Asia gathered a lot of diverse group of people from innovators, manufacturers, policy makers, as well as investors. It gives an opportunity for people to learn and exchange ideas.

I like AIM Asia Week because it connects me to all of the industries in Penang that are relevant to my job, and I can learn new things, new innovations, from all the speaking engagements and panel discussion sessions.

I think AIM Asia Week 2025 is very well organized. There have been great panelists, impressive capacities have come in, and some nice companies at the booths. It’s a good blend of everything.

AIM Asia brought together reputable speakers with advanced knowledge and experience in the industry. It is a sought-after event for continuous learning.

AIM Asia Week is very special, because we cover many areas. We have AI, robotics, automation, it’s all in one. It’s a really great time to get to know people in the industry and make some connections.

I really enjoyed my time here, especially as I was able to meet up with like-minded colleagues and industry players and was able to network, exchange ideas, and get to know what other companies are driving, how they implement it, and how they overcome challenges.

For me, the opportunity to meet and greet and hear from colleagues from different industry sectors, from different functions, doing different roles, has been a great experience.

The good thing about AIM Asia Week is that it brings together all the industry experts, and collectively we are able to collaborate, understand each other’s niche, and at the same time, learn from one another

I think the wonderful thing is being put right in front of many potential partners and people who are in manufacturing. They share with us some of the challenges they face, which we can immediately address as a solution provider. It’s a wonderful platform for that.

AIM Asia Week is a good opportunity for the exchange of the whole ecosystem in Malaysia and worldwide. For me, it’s great to see colleagues and partners and to exchange how they are facing problems and finding solutions for future automation and the next generation of manufacturing.

I like this forum because it brings together all the key industry players. There’s a lot of sharing, so it’s a good place for networking, you can understand what each other is doing and you can share knowledge and experiences.

The program, speakers and exhibitor companies were all very impressive. I really enjoyed interacting with the various participants.
